100 in a day? Do they get 7 days of rest? Do the tourneys stretch out over 3 weekends?

little league is only still alive becuz espn and abc have so much money involved... could you imagine the ratings if espn had the victory v. lakewood ladies finals the last two years...

ive seen ths field the lakewood teams practice on...think it just might be the advantage everyone is looking for...holes, dips, ripples, softspots, dusty spots, uneven areas, almost never a tru hop in the dirt or on the grass...so when they get to the good fields its too easy...haha

I have seen this happen on 2 different occasions . First time it happened to our team . Girl had been ace pitcher for 3 years. Wasn't pitching well in state, coached pitched another girl in championship, girl turns in uniform next practice, 2 weeks before nationals. Starting 1st baseman for 2 years, disrespectful to coaches and teamates at tourn. , coach sits her one game, dad throws a wheel , removes girl from team, 2 weeks before nationals. I do think that they don't have the balls to tell you they can't afford it, so this is their way of getting out. Just a shame that it puts your team in such a bind. Rosters have already been seen in (ASA) plans made, reservations, team chemistry, yada yada yada. Just swallow some pride dude ! 99% of the coaches and parents will find a way to make it happen. They don't spend their lives and most of their money on their teams for the hell of it.
