OC Batbusters and So Cal Finest tournaments

[softballmafia]

Just looked at all the So Cal Finest Tournaments and noticed Oc Batbusters does not play in this local exposure tournamet....Why is that? I know the two teams who run the So Cal Finest do participate in the Surf City......Do the Batbusters not suppport or think this tounrament is legit or are there bad feeling from Surf City towards So Cals Finest?

The Worth Firecrackers and Minors Gold teams do attend some of the Surf Citys showcase events. We do not attend all of them because by the time we play in all of our own events and a couple of Surf Citys events we have very few weekends to PRACTICE. Gary and I have talked about our mutual need to practice more so I have no problem with him not attending all of our events. Gary does attend our Zoom Into June Invitational Showcase. Victory USA also attends some of our events. Tony and I have known and competed against Gary and his Batbuster teams for many many years and I feel certain that he has as much respect for our program as we do for his. The Worth Firecrackers have also supported the Premier Girls Fastpitch National Tournament. I would also add that the Worth Firecrackers and So Cals Finest remain members in good standing with ASA and our tournaments use ASA Rules and Regulations and all of our umpires are ASA Registered. I would certainly consider Gary one of our many good friends in the softball community. The Batbusters are more than welcome any time that they wish to play in our So Cals Finest tournaments. Oh and by the way when I write something I put my name on it. I very seldom write anything on Heybucket because no matter what one says it just provides fuel to those that like to start fires so this will be my first and last comment.
