So how do you read the schedule if there is no letter of pool in front of the teams number?

There are a lot of teams on the list I know nothing about. From the Houston area I would say the strong teams early are
Sudden Impact
Impact Gold
Smash 98, now Sugarland Magic
Tx Storm Elite
Katy Cruisers

This tournament will really be the first time I have seen 95% of the Texas teams so the jury is still out.

I think we (Sudden Impact) play you guys in pool. Come by and say hello.

Agree with 22sDad on all but Cruisers/Magic. I would also throw in Buzz Chambers into that mix. They can play. Most of the NTX teams going are young and shouldn't be a factor. Adkins maybe if their pitching is on.

You are correct. Adkins is the only '98 team with '97 pitching that is going to the RM. They consistently beat BB Spuria with their '98 pitching so I'm sure they will be a factor. Their hitting is still suspect though. But with their pitching they should make some noise. Don't count out Elite(Strawn) though they can put on a run, solid team.

Most of the 2nd year 14U NTX teams either have '96, '95 pitching or they are all committed??? How about Houston Power playing 12U??? What is that all about??? Are they 14U next year?

Yes strawn too I forgot about them. 95s cant play 14u. TBH i dont even know who the 2nd year 14u teams are except for spuria. strawn has some older kids too i think. somebody mentioned on here before though. i think some of those top tier teams are not 97/98 or whatever. adkins is called adkins 16? i guess its just 14u teams not 97 or 98 or whatever.
