Corona Angels (Tyson) beat OC batbusters 2-1 sending them to the losers bracket.
Last years national Champs Worth Firecrackers lost their first bracket game but won their first 2 loser bracket games. The Choppers another favorite is also in the losers bracket after one game. Choppers have also won their first 2 loser bracket games.

Looks like the Firecrackers and Batbusters #1 and #2 will have the weekend off..

crackers have to play about 11 games BB about 9, I guess anything is possible. They both lost pretty early to make it out alive, time will tell.

Impact Gold beat Cal Lite 4-3, yahhhhh! Nothing like 6 hours sleep and back to the ballfield.

Lady Sharks had the bases loaded with one out in the 7th, but couldn't close the deal. Shamrocks win 3-1. They now have to play the MN Irish. A non-Cali team - could be trouble!

Maybe the days of wearing your uniform (BB, Firecrackers, Cruisers, Choppers, etc) is not scaring teams any longer. It works here is SOCAL but the other teams from throughout the USA are not. I wonder which of these teams makes it all the way thru to the champhips game from the loser brackets.

Shamrocks have won their 4th and 5th games in the loser's bracket, 4-0 over the MN Irish and 2-1 over the OC Batbusters in 8 innings. The BBs moved the ITB runner to 3b but couldn't plate her. Shamrocks loaded the bases and scored the game-winner on a two-out single. They play the Vipers later tonight.
