Debbie Corbitt still teaching?

by hombre grande » Thu Aug 25, 2011 8:03 pm

Does anyone know if Debbie Corbitt is still giving pitching lessons? We took a clinic with her years ago and we liked what she had to say.

Sorry I am a little late but I do not go on this forum very often. My grand daughter goes to Stan Hunt and she loves him and she has really exceled from being the #3 to #1 pitcher on her travel team. He pitched in men's fastpitch for many years and has developed some very good pitchers who have gone on to college. I pitched against him in the 70's. He can be reached at www.eteamz.com/goldenstatestarssoftball. Good luck.

DD also takes lessons from Stan Hunt. He's a great instructor and has helped her immensely. According to an e-mail he sent out to (current students) parents today, he has 4-5 spots available for new students. I recommend him highly.

My DD has been seeing Jason Iuli and I highly recommend his teaching. Check out his website www.jasoniuli.com

Stan and Jason are both good in their own ways. Jason does an evaluation lesson for first time students where you and your daughter will get a good sense of his ideas and style.. Recommend you try that out before committing to anything. Just to be open... My DD studied with both and still works with Jason. Good luck!

you all should be taking your dd's to woman instructers, there are physical reasons why.not saying men pitching coaches arent good enough for your dd's but-the hip is diffrent-[pelvis] swings diffr,a mans pitching tech is diffrent compared to female, and there dd's learning not boys.but thats your problems not mine
