Ha, I'm with fastpitchdad, I hate politics, but this was posted in the pub, so I blame myself for opening it...

But, since I'm here...
One observation regarding Ron Paul:
I have no idea who he is, what he looks like, or what his agenda is.
All I know is every time I see a "Ron Paul" sticker, it's always on the dented, rusty bumper of a beat up, smoke belching, old hooptie car...
Deserve's got nothin' to do with it.

What I was saying is the $$$ are low for all donations to candidates from military personel for reasons I stated before. paul may get more because is supporters tend to be be a little louder and more willing to buck previous traditions- that's all.

What does that say about those in the military that have actually given their hard earned money in support of Dr. Paul?

Get back to reading tryout posts and griping about daddyball coaches. I responded to the original post because I actually like thoughtful political discourse. Since this thread has deteriorated to calling people child molesters and dweebs...Peace

My bad, Black Widow. From many of your previous posts, I assumed you were somewhere left of center, which isnt exactly Ron Paul's neighborhood.

To answer your question, I dont think we are talking enough money to draw a conclusion about the voting motivation of a military voter. Maybe most are just of the mindset that its time for some financially sound governing.

If a conservative candidate were to declare they would put Paul in charge of the treasury they would get my vote. Rep. Paul's foreign policy sems a bit to simplistic for the world we live in.
