Heard there were only 16 at the try-outs. Is the gold team suffering after losing Connie?

That lady ( and I use the term loosely) leaving is the best thing that SIG could ever hope for...
she is a total narcasist that is a cancer to any org. that she touches...

look at the history...it don't lie

Isn't it funny how noone else posts how many other teams had at their tryouts? Why would someone care how many SIG had? Maybe their old coach???

Whether Connie's departure is good or bad for Sudden Impact remains to be seen. Regardless of how you feel about Connie, she is a "force". She sought out good talent and got her players placed with colleges. She did have the program moving in the right direction.

I hear the team may lose a couple players, but a talented group of core players remains. Certainly a group that the new coach can build on.

Does anyone besides me find it funny that someone joins haybucket then minutes later posts this.

Then in the Fastpitch Discussions board another person joins the bucket and minutes late posts another Sudden Impact Gold question also specifically mentioning the previous coach by name.

I am not saying anything about the organization, the previous coach or anything connected. I just think there is either a HUGE coincidence or there migh be a little self promotion going on.

I'm not Connie. Just someone wondering if this is still one of the premier teams in Texas with her departure. They have 10 returning players, but had some studs leave. Was told (by one of the players that left) they left because Connie left. There isn't much information about who is coaching, what tournaments they are playing, etc. Their website still list Connie as coach. With such a light turnout and not much information about the teams plans, the organization seems to be in a disarray. Can this team still compete and provide the best recruiting opportunity for girls in Houston?

Describing SIG as "one of the premier teams in Texas" is over stating the case.
