Impact Gold - new coach

by TexasYellowBall » Tue Aug 09, 2011 4:08 pm

They do not play daddy ball...They play the best nine girls in qualifiers and nationals. It's that simple. . . . If your not in the top nine, then you will be warming up ALOT......Moral to the story is to join the best team that you can PLAY for....

Why are so upset glasses, DD didn't play in San Diego and Premier! It very simple, leave and don't let the gate hit you in the a&&! You won't do that though! For every girl that leave, there's 100 to replace them! If you have a problem with Impact Gold, go B&&&h to Stoney or KC, see where that will get you! You won't do that either, you don't have the Balls!

I can see there is no hope for you as the koolaid seems to have turned your brain to mush. The point is don't be afraid to ask questions. Hold these coaches and managers acountable for the money they take from parents. Umm who do you think pays for airfare/hotel/expences for coaches and the managers?

The more interesting question is whether a Texas organization can field two gold teams that can play at the highest level. There are many examples of an A gold team and a B gold team. Many of the better players on the B team eventually go to another organization's top team. One could say it has been done at the 16u and 14u levels with some success. Some organizations have two teams with different tournament and recruiting aspirations. Some blend the teams. It would be great if impact allowed the two coaches to compete for talent with each other. One could have a leaner pitching staff with promises of more playing time. The other could focus on depth FYI. We have nothing to do with impact organization other than getting to play them a couple of times a year. Just raising question whether it could be done in Houston.

I obviously know nothing of the arrangement, since I just read it this morning. But Durham has been the head coach of the "A" team in his organization, it will be interesting to see if they do a "'your turn my turn" type draft or if KC gets to pick his team then Durham picks his. Also interested to see if the Storm has any families that follow him to Impact. Its kind of like a little Houston Softball Soap Opera.

Goldcoloredglasses, you either:
A) lack self awareness
or
B) are a drunk hillbilly

regardless, if you aren't a candidate for a Hot Carl to come raining down on your Saran Wrapped grill, then no one is.

Do you think this team has not been picked. This is deal that was to go down last year but was to late. Some girls will be moving from Sudden Impact org. and a lot inside deal already have been made.
