Heard some news today - Hope it's not true

If you think being in a bigger succesful organization does not help , then you are in the dark. Go look at the Alumni of the Texas Glory, BB, Impact, Sudden Impact, Houston Power, Austin Storm, etc.......Then go look as some of the "same clubs alumni" that you are talking about.

So if it does not matter where you are playing, then Jonathan Lampl and the Freeze Blue coach are on the same level with college coachs. Your small club team coach may be nice and have a good personality. If Connie Clark does not return your call when you have a top recruit for them to see, then you are just out of luck.

The rumor i heard...The Elliot break up is as usual parents screwing with the team concept. Parents wanting thier kids playing all the time or not happy becasue a team only won by 1 or 2 or bla, bla, bla. The are successful all year and they loose a few close and tough games in Fireworks and they all complaining and generate a take over. Typical of a couple parents on this team -- i heard.

You heard this, huh? Whatever.

As I heard it, this was mishandled by both parties and they are all the "adults". Wrongs on both sides, nothing to do with the players, but just couldn't wait another 4 weeks. And I heard it really had nothing to do with the girls performance at the Fireworks.

The comments about this having anything to do with being a part of a large organizations are absurd. This has, is, and can happen to anyone- RF and Rage are prime examples. To go a step further, the organization has been absolutely wonderful to both sides on this issue and has been more than accommodating to the coaches, players, and parents. KS has handled all the bitching very well when he could have told everyone to take a hike, or so I've heard.

I don't think I blamed the players, I pointed out the parents. What did a famous coach once say when asked what his favorate team would be made up of " orphans". I feel for the Elliot team including the coaches and players. My point about a couple parents is that there are a few out there that seem to move from one team to another and they stir up the same things on each.

To address the issue of big and small -- It is the name not the size of the club!! At some point in time Glory was small, BB was and to some extent Elite is now.
