How do you hit near .350 and make this team? I'm just sayin. From 43ft and you hit under .400 in HS, WOW. Maybe you're fast? Which means you're going to be a runner in College. Or maybe this team was already predetermined. Oh, we almost forgot this one. Some of these kids on this team deserve to be on this team, but after reading the article I noticed a couple of stats and I was like "What, you have to be Kidding".

sftbaldud, I know what you are saying and when you look just at numbers you have a tendency to shake your head. It works both ways though, how many times do you see kids with .795 avg who cant make the local TB team. Sometimes and I know its hard you have too look a little deeper than just numbers, and I would not want these guys job trying to sift through thousands of HS kids.

Plus, we have already run the mommy/daddy keeps stats to the ground. We know that some of the kids on that list are definitely not as good as the stats entered.

They choose the best way possible though.

Alot has to do with the league that they're in also. You can be in a really crappy league facing rec ball pitchers and have great stats but if you're in a competitive league facing pitchers that are actually moving on to play in college that's a different story. Most of these girls on this list are legit some of the others I don't know anything about them or what type of competition they're facing week in and week out.

No "dog" in this fight, but who from the list would you consider "legit" and why? Do they play for travel ball teams that are successful? Have they made future college choices? Have you seen them play?

Everyone needs to remember it's just high school ball and it doesn't mean anything, except boosting some parents ego's!
