Hey Craig, I really appreciate you soliciting my players via twitter WHILE WE ARE PLAYING ASA NATIONALS. Real class move by a stand-up Coach!!!!!!! Nice move buddy. Hope the kids coming to your tryout do their research and find out why such a huge successful team as yours can't even retain it's coaching staff. Thanks again,

Someone who has surpassed the level of jerk, however not yet reached trucker or mothertrucker. Not to be confused with douche.
I think that both fit that discription.
One sold his soul to keep a pitcher to win, the other lost his soul when he realized he could be something in life if he piggybacked on is own pitcher.
Breaking news parents and players - anyone could have coached these teams and had success.

Killer, I always appreciate truth in advertising and "getting a story straight", so let me help you.
The assistant coach you mention that left my team, did so 2 years ago when his daughter aged out of my team; 18u kids rarely play on 16u teams. As I mentioned in the late night irate phone call you paid me, that was not the coach in question and you knew that. I also told you that my beef with you was contacting kids AT NATIONALS; you might think that is cool, most consider it garbage. Make all the calls you want on Monday after Nationals, but don't call kids in the middle of bracket play at ASA Nationals. I have had dozens of kids contact me thru the years about playing opportunities and my answer has always been the same; "great, I have your contact info and I'll be in touch after Nationals".
I have seen you do this same thing before and even watched you cause havoc on teams within your own organization by recruiting next years team before this year even starts. If you don't like being called out on this, don't do it. Pretty simple.
