Yes "softball_freak" the NWI White Sox are still going to the ASA Nationals, that is if we have enough players a month from now!!!!! I think we will be the only Indiana team in Johnson City!!

Thanks Bake. That doesn't sound too promising about your players (or should I say parents?) Good Luck!

Yeah, definitely not the players. Unhappy parents that wanna run their own show cause things to happen and put words into their kids mouths. Hmmm..... For example, like the Indiana Heat (which was a very successful team for 4 years) falling apart and an Ambush Fastpitch team being formed (leaving 3 players without a team) that is running around playing in B team tournaments (Noblesville and Cicero) and NSA B State. It's a joke!! Those girls deserve to play top competition. They even asked my daughter to play for them and she declined because she doesn't want to play B ball just for trophies.

It is because of this Ambush Fastpitch team forming that there is not and ASA State tournament this year (or at least it has been modified). People have no clue how their actions in order to make theirselves happy have a trickle down effect on the travel ball world and kids on other teams.

It's all good until you bring some fresh blood into a team that has been around for a while and all of a sudden little Suzy isn't parked at first base every inning or pitching all the time or catching all the time. Oh yeah, and don't you dare move a girl down a spot or two in the line up because she can be utilized for bunting and strategy. That is a big "No,No"!! :D

Some people will settle for their kids being the best of the middle of the pack....

Glad to see the top 4 teams are all at NSA A this weekend. Hoosier Crush has some potetial too! Should be a very competitive tournament start to finish. No matter what happens CP, NWI, Xtreme, and Gators have more than proven that they are the top 4. Too bad the Heat split, would've had all 5 there. The great thing about these teams is that they can all beat each other, so it will just come down to who gets that one big hit or who makes that one mistake. That is how it should be when the best teams in an age group meet!

Good luck to all teams at State this weekend!!!!!!!
