Sota is a very solid team and definitely belongs at the top of the '97s and in the overall top 5-10. However I believe they will struggle a little against some of the teams you have listed below them now that the '96s are back.

Aztecs shouldn't be in the top 10 either. Aside from the triple crown tournament last weekend, they have been out very early in other tournaments. And have lost to un-ranked teams....

Not arguing, just curious...who would you put ahead of them...Mizuno Pride maybe?

SD Aztecs 97 did have a down Spring, especially with their #1 pitcher out with injuries. However, their #1 is back (at least part time). With a healthy team, the Aztecs finished 4th in last weekend's 14u TCS Memorial Day Tournament. They beat TeamSmith 97 and Lil Saints before losing in the winner's bracket to eventual champ OCBB-McNee. In the loser's bracket, they beat Nemises, Corona Angels-Allen and Mizuno Pride, before losing to PS96 5-4.

Now that they are healthy again (and proved it in last weekend's tournament), they should be considered a top 10 team. JMO

That is great news to read that Aztecs are full force and had a good showing at TCS tourney this weekend. I know the 96 team they beat still has a couple of starters out because of CIF. Should be interesting to see how the teams match up when all teams are at full force. McNee BB looked really solid this weekend as well. Off to CIF finals, good luck to all teams from SoCal heading to Arizona, don't forget your passports...

SD Aztecs have a very good team... anybody that takes them lightly could be in for a surprise.

In order to update the current 14U poll before ASA So Cal State, please find the 14U coaches and pollsters ballot for the upcoming June 6th 14U poll.

All completed poll ballots need to be sent to Bracketologist at cabracketologist@gmail.com by Sunday June 5th.

A couple of basic rules for new pollsters:

1. Rankings should reflect the on the field performance of the team and should not take into any consideration a pollster's dislike for a particular coach.

2. If you have not seen a team play or don’t feel comfortable ranking a certain team – you should leave that team blank (we have a methodology that takes into consideration teams that have not been seen by many pollsters/coaches).

3. Please focus any comments on positive things or key insights (i.e., Team X has two major injuries that will hurt their offensive).

Thank you for participating.
