USFA tourn at Edinburgh was good this weekend. Saw some up and coming teams that are showing tremendous promise. Indy Edge looked strong this weekend, along with the Indy Bandits 01's.. Saw some young teams that have been putting in some work and still have a little ways to go, Lightning, Rockets, Brats ... some very good games played between the Xtreme girls and the Indiana Heat. Heat came into this tourn riding their win last weekend over some great teams and ended up playing the Xtreme 4 times this weekend. Xtreme got the better of them with 3 wins and 1 loss,,,1 of those wins being the championship game. Great job to all the 10u girls this weekend....Now on to the next tourn.

GREAT ball in Edinburgh at an USFA tournament this past weekend!! Congrats to the Indiana Xtreme for bring home the Championship and Congrats to the Indiana Heat for being Runner Up! I have seen these two teams play on several occasions. While, most know the history of these two teams, good and bad, one thing I will say is that it is great to see that the girls on both teams still have great friendships, which is how it should be. I have read so many postings on here that has read how the game should be about the girls and not about the coaches. I TOTALLY agree with that cause all in all, it is the girls out on the field swinging the bats and making the plays. With that said, I was completely disappointed in hearing that one of the coaches on the Xtreme "flipped off" the parent of one of the girls the Xtreme released about two months ago after the now Heat player was running into home, collided with the catcher, catcher dropped the ball, runner's hand was stretched touching home plate and safe was called. And it didn't stop there... When the Xtreme and Heat met up for the third time, this same coach did not like the "leave early" call the ump made at first base, which ended the game and gave the Heat the victory. This coach got up in the umps face and then kicked dirt on him. Needless to say, this coach was kicked out of the game and had to watch the Championship game from the parking lot. Now come on Coach... this is 10u softball!!!!!! Do you realize your girls and other girls for that matter see the way you are acting? Not only do I feel for the girls that play for this coach but also the Indiana Xtreme Organization, as this coach is still representing an organization they are not a part of. Once again, Congrats to the Indiana Xtreme for bring home the Championship! Congrats again to the Indiana Heat for Runner Up (as they played with 5 subs all weekend). Congrats to all the 10u teams!!!! I saw a lot of great softball being played, friendships formed, and memories made!! That is what softball should be about at 10u!

As a parent of the Xtreme organization, I've got to say, this is beyond embarrassing.
Jeremy as a favor you guys were allowed to keep the uniforms to save the parents the cost of replacing them,
for the LOVE OF GOD, ACT LIKE FREAKING ADULTS! Even though you're no longer part of the organization,
that doesn't give you carte blance' for the coaching staff to continue to act like idiots!

To the parents of this team, why do you continue to put up with this crap, why do you continue to allow
people like this to even be associated with your daughter?

Wagner... I have read and re-read my posting and can't seem to find the place where I wrote, quoting you now.. "the heat played well despite having 5 subs all weekend." I believe I said "Congrats" TWICE to the Xtreme for bringing home the Championship and twice to the Heat for getting runner up. So... for your crying out loud, you can wipe your tears now! I did mention the Heat having played with 5 subs all weekend, because unlike you, I wanted to give those 5 girls credit for their hard work all weekend. Just to make you happy, I will even say 3 of them came from the Xplosion and 2 came from the Mafia. As I mentioned before, 10u softball is about the girls! Not the coaches or parents!!!

I think this is incredible and speaks to 10U softball! A 10U thread 41 pages long. Is that a record?............. and still growing! Do you Jackasses think there is one time a 9 or 10 year old has typed one reply? You people are rediculous! Seriously kicking dirt on an umpire?! If it were my sole decision that guy, that very few have any respect for, would be the one explaining to the parents why the Xtreme uniforms were taken away and they are wearing t-shirts and bball shorts as uniforms, obviously with Xtreme nowhere associated with them. PLEASE DO NOT ASSOCIATE THAT GUY WITH THE INDIANA XTREME!!!!!

WOW!! I also was at the USFA tourney this weekend and agree with those saying it was a GREAT tourney. The girls got to see a lot of great softball (defensive and offensive) from several of the teams. Are there some that are better defensively than others? What about hitting? A lot of them looked tough to me. Just looking for helpful info for future games...

You're seriously scouting 10U
Man - I post some stuff on here to lighten the mood or stir the pot, but scouting 10U's?

Slapper - any comments? Still in shock over a 10U coach wearing your colors kicking dirt on blue? Sorry all the hard work and good will so many people put in over time gets associated with this crap - trouble in lending out uniforms - code of conduct doesn't come with the socks.

Wow - this would all be really funny if it wasn't so pathetic

Officially signing off so as not to give the diaper dandies any more ego inflation by paying attention to 10U - only so many morbidly obese parents I can witness living through their little "athletes" anyway

Call me at 14U (unless the cops show up again for the Gators - I'm always up for clobbering a soft toss over the plate like that)
Hello, 911? It's Quagmire. Yeah, it's caught in the window this time.
