If this is true... We will see if UIL steps in and does anything. I reported a illegal player a couple of years ago.. Nothing ever happened.

why in the world would u say gotta love high school coaches. the girl that was ineligible to play was not even a starting player and never would have stepped foot on the field had RC not been ahead of Corsicana 5-0.. if she is lucky she plays maybe 1 inning a game (if she is lucky).. its not like we are talking about a star player that decided the game one way or the other. give me a break.. from what i understand the mother of this child found out that her daughter had failed a class and reported it to the superintendent who therefore went straight to UIL to report it.. NOTHING was trying to be hidden and her playing the game in NO WAY IMPACTED THE OUTCOME OF THAT GAME. She didnt score, she didnt throw anyone out, she didnt even bat for goodness sakes.

For a first time poster to HB, you seem to have the depravity necessary. You are off to a flying start. You managed to degrade, belittle and otherwise render useless the effort of one young lady by declaring her to be nothing more than lucky (twice) to even step onto the field. Furthermore, its not like we are even talking about a star. Really?!?! You created a screen name and took the time to register just so you could make those comments.

Obviously, you have taken what I wrote personal. Maybe because you are close to the situation, I don’t know. When I said you have to love H. S. coaches, I was speaking from some of my past experiences with H. S. coaches. From my dealings with a few, they always want to take credit for the success of players that they had no part in, yet take no blame for mistakes such as this one. I would think the coach would have know if one of his/her players failed (It’s their job to know). If indeed that is what happened. Again, I am just speaking of my experience. I never said the player had any impact, I don’t even know the player, coach or the two teams involved. All I posted was Royse City still has to win a game to get out of the second round… So, please don’t take my comments personal that was not the intent…

Not sure about the other regions, but I would agree with your Region 3 picks with the exception that I will take Crosby over Huntsville.
