Enjoy the 10U success today and be proud for the girls and what they accomplish. Be patient and keep in mind that VERY rarely will that success translate past 14U - as spots and movement become such a premium at 43', very few young power pitchers (and their parents) have the ability to adapt as the competition, and pitching distance, increase. Couple that with late growth spurts, burn outs, and team-hopping, the elite players today have the same chance of long term success as the long, lean, athletic player with resources that is picking up a bat for the first time this spring in their local rec league. It's a crap shoot.

I thought the pole barn was a prerequisite. You mean I didn't HAVE to add the monstrousity of a building that dwarfs my house??

I do draw the line at number changing though. I will shop my kid around until she can get the number that I...I mean SHE wants.

When i went to Casa de Shockwave,i don't remember the flavor of the adult "cool aid" (since we're old and THINK we're cool) i had. But it was damn good!!

Myself and my coaches want all the help we can get so over half of our girls go to Bell and his daughter for hitting.
Heck, I think my assistant coach Shawn is in love with him. "Bell said this, Bell said that, Oh he's so funny!" LOL!!!

I set off to the side and take notes.

I think maybe Bell did fart dust the other day when he was pitching a heater!

Another Dreams coach has been of tremendous help to our team with advice also, along with a Magic coach.

Phewwww....okay. Now I feel like I have bridged the generation gap!
