Great softball this weekend in Fresno with the top SoCal teams. All the top teams handled business on Sat and went head to head Sunday in the Quarters and Semi's.

Quarters: Socal Rage over Firecrackers in ITB (great game to watch, just a little tension)

Semi # 1 -Gamers Academy over Strike Force 1-0 (another great game with great pitching and great defense)

Semi # 2 - Watley over Socal Rage 2-0 (Great pitching by both teams)

Championship - Watley over Gamers Academy 2-1 in 9 innings double ITB (Great pitching and Great Defense both teams)

Congrats to Watley with another Championship, Congrats to Gamers Academy for a great Tournament.

Watley proves to be the # 1 team in California going into States.

Historically speaking, teams coming in 1st-2nd at St. Paddy's and Fresno Force typically come in 1st-2nd at ASA states and teams that come in 1st at ASA States often win ASA Nationals. Teams that go to St Paddy's/Fresno often do not even enter 1 TCS tournament the entire season. Just saying...

I'm not advocating everyone do Fresno/MDC and/or you're not a good/great team if you do TCS. But the coaches who make a deliberate plan to attend and win ASA Nationals and know what they are doing focus on Paddy's / Fresno Force / ASA States.

Wow SoCAL10UDude you predicted it back in March. I guess some people on here will have to apologize for second guessing you Good luck to all teams going to Nationals, TC, or Westerns.

what did so cal dude predict. I am a bit confused. All the top teams played Triple crown tournaments this year. Watley and gamers finished 1 and 2 with strike force 3 at fresno while watley and strike force took 1 and 2 with gamers taking 3 at states. And if I remember just about all the top games could have gone either way. Last year was a bit different. Firecrackers was above everyone. With batbusters and Crunch fighting for 2 and 3.
