Having bats like theirs and a 57mph pitcher (which is not a dime a dozen in NTX despite what liveintx broken radar gun says) makes them part of this discussion for sure.

Sorry that you took the time to reply and try and call me out for a comment that I did not make. In your haste to look like Alex Trebek you missed that fact that realitysucks made the comment about the "dime a dozen".

Better luck next time.

Sorry, I was referring to this:

but I see how the way I worded it could have been confusing. My mistake.

I would have to somewhat agree. 57 for 12u is not bringing over powering speed but it is good. But pitchers have to have more than a good fast ball to survive even in 12u. The good teams will beat a fast ball to death. This post has put the spotlight and the pressure on her and her team Fusion to perform. In a way that is good because pitchers also have to learn to handle pressure and if she is from california then she has probably been exposed to some pretty good teams.
The money tournment will give her a chance to pitch against the best teams in Texas. This tournment will set the stage for what we might expect to see at the qualifiers later in May and June.

Safe travel for all. This tournment is going to be fun to watch. I know we have made predictions on what teams we think will do well but most of that is from the heart. I believe this tournment is wide open for any team to win it !!

What are you all going to say on Monday when the mystery girl for Fusion shows up this weekend and she is not from California with a 57 mph fast ball, but a local NTX team? LMAO!!!

I would repeat what I said in my earlier post, just leave out california. Once again speed without spin and other pitches are what good teams love.
Why are some people from NTX trying to keep this dd such a mystery ???? The good teams are not going to be afraid of her. They want to see her bring it. They love the challenge.

She's from Batbusters Rhine. Good kid, not sure about the 57 mph though.

Ceelo if you a correct then we've got a couple of bitter Rhine people trying to make fun of this kid (very classy btw). Word is the California girl got a part in the upcoming music video starring Justin Bieber and Snoop Dog and won't make it to this tournament!

"California girls are undeniable, daisy dukes, bikinis on top..."
Oh and just for you Ceelo
"I see you driving around town with the girl I love and I'm like F*** U"

Iheartsoftbal...oh yes I do! :D

Exciting weekend coming up, hope the weather holds and some of my people can keep me updated on the games!

Ya I don't get it. This is a "small" world here in NTX as it relates to softball. Didn't think that it was a big deal, players come and go. Player leaves team A to go to Team B. That's not new. But something I am curious is where these stories or rumors started. A girl from California moves here, finds Fusion, she's a 98, pitcher of course oh and it just so happens at the same time Fusion just happen to have parted ways with one of their pitchers. Makes perfect sense, it did get everyone going though. Makes for good talk before the $$ tournament I guess...

I think Fusion coaches and parents need to look at themselves as they are the ones slinging rumors and talking trash.
