12U Spring/Summer Ranking

Retrack your claws kitty galore! Your DD was not called out. That was directed to you. I retracted that so there is no miscommucication about it. I can wager you that the higher ups at AASA were not pleased with this.

ALL TEAMS would take a top player if they thought it would help their team/organization.

As a matter of fact, I tell all of our parents once we are done with tryouts, that is pretty much it, we are done (if our roster is full) but I ALWAYS reserve the right to add a stud pitcher if one shows up. Now I have not been so lucky as to have the amazing pitcher show up on my doorstep once the season has started, but rest assured, if one comes that makes our team significantly better, I will have a uniform for her tomorrow:)

That is just the way the softball world works. Ask Scorcerer how come they didnt turn away Rickets a few years back... just before they won asa gold nationals:)

Getting this thread back on topic!
Congratulations to the Norcal teams for representing well in So Cal this weekend.

Shouts out to Sorcerers who dug deep and made it to the semi finals.

Breeze and Grapes Vasquez also went deep, losing to the two teams that battled it out in the championship.
No courage. No game.

Tenshun. That's big for them to go that deep! Good job! Same with Vasquez, another good team. I heard there was a friendly for 14s with Monarchs, AASA, Sorcerers and Smash 12's playing up. Havnt heard how they did seeing they weren't in Hemett. Anyone know how that went? Also, Tenshun do you foresee your ranking change due to all the roster shifting?

I heard Smash 12u did well playing against some of the better 14u teams in Norcal this weekend. I don't know what the scores were (or if they even kept score-it was just a friendly). But from what I heard, Smash didn't look out of place.

The rankings have been pretty spot on so far, but are due for an update. Hit me up with a PM to let me know what you're thinking.

A good team can make any coach look good.
A bad team can make any coach look bad.
The coach that can take an average team and win is a good coach.

Before everyone starts beating up on her, let's see how things go for Coach Norwood now that her team is more of an average 12U team.

You can't be serious. It was a low pressure instructional friendly. There is no ' winner'. Smash is good, but make sure you stay in touch with reality.

not sure why anyone would want to criticize a coach who is out there coaching young girls because she loves being out there....oh, I forgot, some people like to bash people for fun.

As far as the friendly.... hard to keep track of anything when teams are starting innings with runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs to set up situations that both teams need to work on. But if it makes you feel better by saying there was a winner... have at it.
