Who are some of the top 14u teams in the state. Haven't heard much about them.

Diamond Chix won the HSE tourney and looked good beating the Shockwaves team soundly. Crown Point and Dreams not there but playing each other this weekend up north in a RR.

So is it safe to assume that the 14u division is way down. I have seen the teams you talked about and quite frankly, they are not as talented as the teams in years past. I am assuming the Dreams are on top and everyone is playing for 2nd? or not? Can they play with the Lasers or Wasco Diamonds 14u?

We will see who the top teams are after the HS season is over. Many of the better teams have players playing HS ball. My guess is that it will be the same as always.

Dreams are very strong as always not sure I would say everyone is playing for second though. I anticipate that after High School things will get interesting.

Some of the top teams IMHO:

Dreams
Game FX
Xtreme
Diamond Chix
Shockwaves
Voltage
Edge 97

This is based on what I seen in the fall. As we all know things can change from Fall to Summer so I could be way off. I also didn't mention any of the Northern or Southern Indiana Teams as I have not see them Play.

Game FX? I'm guessing you must have a dd on the team! Unless they have a different team than indoor, i'm not sure I would put them in with the top teams. Pitching is pretty good, but inconsistant. Hitting OK, and fielding is very average at best. IMO not solid enough to compete with the best. Not much discipline on the field or in the dugout!

I do have a DD on the team she started to play with them after the Fall. I don't think much of indoor ball except that it is Good practice. But since you brought it up FX placed in the top 3 in all but 1 indoor Tourney at the Zone and played in the Championship in 2 of them. Also played in Championship in Ft. Wayne as well. We beat the Dreams, Gators and several good out of state Teams as well.

We are not playing right now due to High School ball but I believe when we start playing again the girls will prove that we are one of the top teams. We will be playing all NSA and going to NSA A in TN.

I am not one to brag at all just giving credit where it is do FX is loaded with Talent and we will work these girls hard after School Ball and prove they belong at the top.

Not sure what team you are with but wish you the best of luck.

Just stating my opinion! My dd is in college, but have friends and family on several teams. The main question w/ FX is who will be with the team? They seem to drop and add player almost every tournament. Good Luck to you and the girls. Just wondering though, if they are among the best why not USA/ASA?

I wish USA/ASA but I am not the Coach.... My Coaching days are over till my 4 yr old starts playing, I am sure that will be fun! My DD and another girl from my team were late additions to FX.... As far as I know we still have the same roster  ...

Several good teams at HSE this past weekend. Edge beat Chix in 14u championship. Glory werent far behind. Xtreme and Team Indiana were decent. I think Dreams have to be in the number 1 spot. I don't know how Crown Point is this year but anticipate they are solid as usual. Have no clue about FX but we'll see in a few weeks. I'd go Dreams, Edge, Chix, and Glory of teams I've seen but it's early and lots can change over the next couple if months. Glad to see girls getting a chance to play with some decent weather for a change.
