Top High School Age Pitchers in Texas

by TXfastpitchsoftball » Wed Apr 06, 2011 9:29 am

Wondering who out there in high school is dominating in the circle as we gear up for summer ball. I'm hearing rumors about players throwing 66-68 mph on Stalker/JUGS guns, but I'm just not seeing anything close to it. I've gunned a few who are supposedly the hardest throwing kids in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and tops seems to be consistently at 60-62 mph. An occasional 63 mph on a pitch here and there. Anyone really seeing 66-68 mph consistently on a radar gun?

Aledo pitcher was clocked at 63, 64, 63 on 3 pitches at Texas Tech Camp
I have been present during her pitching lesson and she was a between 62 & 65 on a REVFIRE
Talked with her pitching coach she injured her hand back in Jan and is not completely healthy

pitchers I have seen that thorw had and are worth the price of a ticket in Fort Worh/westside
Birdville pitcher when healthy I think throws a little harder than Aledo pitcher.
Brock pitcher 64-68
Weatherford pitcher 64-68 had 20 K's vs North Crowley in 7 innings last week
Burleson pitcher 63/65

I don't know why this is hard to believe. I have seen each of these girls except the Burleson girl and they can bring it. I have no doubt the ones I saw are in the mid 60's...

Have you every seen these girls pitch?
Appearantly not! Go watch these girls throw and then lets have a discussion

Brock pitcher (2011) committed to Baylor in 2008 and I was present at RM when several SEC and Big 12 coaches had several radar guns on her. By the way this girls bats from the left, she can bunt, slap and hit a way with power last I heard she has 13 home runs this year.

ths girls are more in the 2.8-3.0 range going to first
Weatherford pitcher (2011) committed to LLU same answer as above

Burleson pitcher (2013) committd to Baylor while in the 8th grade was clocked at 62 in the 7th grade

granted when you are throwing in front of coaches with radar guns you are generally throwing fastballs as fast ass you can

I see you have a working knowledge of the internet.Copy and paste seem to be your strong points.Too bad you show your weakness in the knowledge of softball. You have not seen all these speeds yourself, but like so many before you to are riding on the hype train.PLEASE MOVE TO THE BACK OF THE TRAIN.There is your seat next to THE OTHER BLOW HARDS. Copy and paste this.
