Must be a drag to have all the best of everything at Newport Harbor and still be the leagues beat down step child team.

My point is NHHS is greatfull to be in Sunset League, it sucks to have 5 great teams ahead of them. Had to edit the rest of the post due to a request.

Lol. There's certainly no shortage of ego in HS ball. :roll:

"Unlike most of my inebriated, irrational posts, what I was interested in here was to state that NHHS had nothing to do with the rankinig, respects the good teams, is happy to get some recognition, acknowledges it has not played preseason teams of Sunset League calibur, but does not diss the teams it did play. "

First, no one ever said that NHHS had anything to do with the polls-we know this isn't 'American Idol' where your votes can affect the outcome (in most cases :) )

Second, no one was dissing the weaker teams you are playing-only stating a fact which you yourself admit to;

Third, I don't see how it's "respectful" to call out specific coaches & offer your opinions of their abilities and/or the faults of their programs;

As far as I know, all of the schools in the Sunset League operate under the "open enrollment" system, so I'm not sure why you would bring that up. I'm sure NH has its share of kids who don't go to their "home" school.......

And, haven't you heard? There is no whining in softball.

You've got to be kidding, right?

Who would do something like that?

Now, cant wait to see NHHS in Woodbridge tourney, Guess you would see them in the Gold Bracket play since they dont have to deal with their tough league competion this weekend.
