Check this out, the new Easton bats that are coming out are transparent. That's right you can see right through them. After 20,000 swings or so the bat will change colors, this means that the bat has become hotter than 98 miles per hour and will no longer be legal.

No, I have not been drinking and I have never sniffed glue, this is what I was told today by a Easton dealer that has a brochure on the new Stealth's and Synergy's

Let's see, 2 practices a week x 100 swings x 52 weeks that's 10,400 swings just for practice
Add another 50 swings per weekend x 36 weeks thats another 1,800 swings per friendly/tourn
Add another 100 swings every two weeks for hitting lessons thats 2,600
Thats' close to 15,000 swings in a year. I probably missed some swings. I'm guessing the bat will only last one year. Oh well, it's only money.

I wonder what color the cracks will be?

If it lasts a year, will be better than the average my daughter has been getting. She averages about 3 months on a bat, doesnt matter what brand.

Rocketechs, average of every 2-3 months. Did the exchange thing every 3 months for 2 years, got tired of it and got a copper colored Quad. She loved the bat, but after about 6 months it started rattling, sent it back, they replaced it with a red Quad, not the same bat, she doesnt like it. Got the white and purple Stealth. Loves the bat, 4 months old, barrel loose and cracks around connection.

I would be a little more understanding if she was a 6', 200 lb power hitter, but she is a 5' 4" 120 lb left handed slapper that does occasionally swing away.

I think they look pretty UGLY. The bats look like they came out a box of crayons.
