Alabama has been ranked #1 for one day! Where's your research on 10U pitching?

Man are you serious !!!!!!!!!! U told me to watch some games that apparently you did not see on tv this weekend (SWEEP) !!! And back to 10u I know a lilttle about 10u ask those coaches what they think about pitching then get back to me !!!!!!! WORD

Yeah, let me give Tim Walton a call and ask him about 10u softball and I'll get back to you....

I was able to do some 10u pitching RESEARCH !!! Here you go look @ Mizuno on Suinday Looks like a Big Bat team,, But was blanked in the SHIP !!!! WORD http://lvtourneys.com/StPaddysDay/brackets/10U.pdf

OK. Good evidence. I'm still sticking with the bats. We will see how it goes this summer in 10U.

My opinion is worth as much as anyone elses. It might not be 100 out of 100 times or 99 out of a 100, but for the most part good pitching wins over good hitting.

New to this site. Like all the 10u talk and everyone's opinion on rankings. My daughter plays 10u but is not affiliated with any of these teams. So here goes my unbiased opinion on who I think is top 10 2000 teams

1. Team Watley- * 1st place St. paddy's blast
Best #1 and #2 pitcher IMO. Good hitters, Solid Defense. Very good coach. Only one of the top teams that you don't see at TCS? A couple of other tourney wins.

2. Corona Angels- * 1st place OC coastal Classic, *T-3rd place AA toys for tots
Very good pitching + hitting. Solid defensively. This team knows how to win. 3 TCS tourney 1st place finishes. Very close to being #1. Watleys pitching gives them edge.

3. Strike Force- * 1st place AA Toys 4 tots
Very good defensively. Good hitters. Pitching is strong but struggles at times.Team has been together the longest so good team chemistry. Only team to be Watley in bracket play of a tournament that I know of ? could be wrong.

4. So Cal Rage- * No tourney wins?
This team has always been scrappy and quick. Players they picked before spring make them a top team IMO. Best slapping/ small ball team in the top 5. I think we are gonna see them and Angels in finals of March Mayhem.

5. Cal Thunder- *3rd place St. paddys blast
(formerly primetime elite? not sure please confirm)

This team had a good showing in Vegas. Surprising a few teams. They look legit. If this team is the core of primetime elite looks like they have 2 TCS tourney wins under their belt.

6. Artesia Punishers- * 2nd place AA toys 4 tots, *2nd place OC Coastal Classic

Solid team . Good pitching, Hitting and Defense. Can be inconsistent at times. Also have a couple of 3rd place finishes under their belt. Give them the edge over Gamers because they have had more tourney success.

7. Gamers- * t- 3rd AA toys 4 tots

This is a very good team. Great defense. Solid Pitching and hitting. Looks like a top 5 team on saturdays but need to play that way on sunday when it counts. Very capable of beating the teams ranked above them. Couple 3rd place TCS finishes.

8. OC Mizuno- * 2nd place St. paddy's blast

This team is by far the most improved team since fall. Good pitching and Big bats will give them a chance. Lack of good defense and speed will hurt them. This team played it's best in vegas. Not sold yet on this team. Would like to see them have more success aginst teams ranked above and below them.

9. Firecrackers- * Any tourney wins?

One of the smaller 10u teams. Solid small ball team that is also capable of putting up lots of runs. Solid pitching and very good defensively. Good slappers.

10. So Cal Stealers- *t- 3rd OC Coastal Classic

Good pitching , OK defensively. Need bigger bats. Struggle against top teams.

On the bubble

(Corona Eliminators) * 1st place TCS state championships
(Team Xprotex) Good showing in vegas. Tough losses
(So Cal Venom)* Co champs TCS Monster mash

I agree with lots of opinions. Looks like it's going to be pretty wide open this year. Every one of the top 7 teams are capable of beating each other on any given weekend. It's gonna come down to who is playing their best ball the weekend of ASA states. And with all the parity this year I doubt whoever wins states will also win Nationals. But I got my money on Watley. That pitcher throws smoke..

One last thing.. Which 2001 team is the best team that your team has faced this year? I know there aren't many (maybe 5) but there are more than last year.

And I know everybody is going to rip my rankings :x , or say i don't know ish :| ,or how's my 18 gold team  ,or that i am a chest thumping parent ;) for whatever team just because they are butt hurt parents  . It's just my opinion! :o WORD! or PALABRA! :P

Numero dos- Actually very good ranking, could debate a few things but I like it. Nice to finally get someone on here that gives a fair ranking not based on thier kids team. :o

As for the 2001 teams
Corona Angels 01, Gamers 01, and Dynasty 01 look the best
Gamers has the best pitcher and will be the number 1 pitcher next year
Corona Angels very good coaches- good all around team
Dynasty also good coaching

If I forgot anyone sorry, just the three that stood out so far. I am a huge fan of first year teams
Love the game
