I know the season is early but if you are going to do rankings at least look at the results from the games played and do some research, not follow some pre-season "hype".

Where is Edison? They beat Lutheran in the last tournament and only gave up a few runs the whole way through.
Elmo barely got by Mater Dei and lost to Foothill, how are they #3?
Marina barely squeaked through the consolation bracket going to ITB in two of their games and giving up 13 runs. Good thing their bats could support the pitching and defense.
Lutheran 's offense is sketchy against better pitching.
Canyons 4 wins come against teams with a combined record of 9-15.
Mater Dei will have a tough season with the injuries to pitchers, Hope M can come back.

your right...Edison should replace Marina on that list. Foothill lacks pitching, Marina lost to MV and nearly got beat by Northwood. Elmo hangs its hat on one star pitcher/player, MD needs their #1 to get healthy, Olu needs more offence, LosAl throws a freshman every inning of every game...see how long that last. Canyon is solid, but still a one pitcher team. Did I leave anyone out. :D :D

Wow! OC Varsity is out of touch with this season. They should actually research and review scores each week! Wow!

Our team has even done better than some of those teams. We even submitted our stats and record to OC Varsity, but they don't even bother with ours. Oh well, such is life.

I'm pretty sure that MD lost at least 2 in Bullhead. They haven't lost a game since then? Think their record is a little off.

Oh, I too hope that M gets better soon. GREAT kid!!!

At least he tries to get us some softball coverage.

Foothill 5 - Edison 1
Guess Foothill's lack of pitching did pretty good against a very good hitting team in Edison.

And spazsdad is correct about Carlos. He is still working on finishing up other winter sports. He will be out very soon to start watching all the top softball teams. He had done a pretty good job over the past few years as he is much more aware of the players and the teams :D

Edison is typically a good hiiting team, however I heard Edison left 10 runners on...difficult to get a "W". Kudos to Foothill for their win!

That's a good win for Foothill, Edison can certainly pitch. I'm not sold on Edison's hitting, didn't look good against LHills and got some charity from Olu...4 runs on 3 hits against Lutheran's #3 pitcher. Foothill has no wear to hide, they have a very tough schedule ahead. As do all the other top 10's. Pacifica has the easiest road through league, but a solid non-league schedule. Should be fun

Foothill beat Edison 5-1, RSM in The Foothill Round Table Tournament 3-1, and also beat El Modena in The MaxPrep Tournament of Champions in Az, 10-0 for 3rd place. I think their pitching is just fine................
