Needed - college softball player in the South Texas area

What we are looking for is a college softball player in the corpus christi area who would help us in running our practices, maybe someone home for the summer. I know none of our girls will read this but we have had this group of kids together for a long time, maybe too long. There are only so many ways of saying the same thing we have been saying for all these years. These are very good girls, they have been successful - but when they are finishing our sentences for us - its time for a little new blood.

For a minute there I thought you wanted a college player to pitch for your 16U team.

Both Force 16U teams use former or current college players as assistant coach and it works very well.

Thats what we were thinking to0, Intel, we just live so far away from everything, except the beach. We were hoping maybe some college players may have come down for the summer and wanted to make a buck or two.

Do you have any local Colleges or JC's? Most colleges require community work and I know Fresno State accepts working with Travel teams as community work.

Intel, great minds think alike. I ran into the local D1 head coach at a tournament this evening and he is lining up some kids that want to get into coaching.
