by afastpitchfanatic » Wed Feb 16, 2011 12:32 pm

I see threads for 10u, 14u, and 16u. Anyone have opinions on who to watch in 12u and 18u??

Look at the 10u thread go!! :D

12u Team Indiana-Eckl, is now 12u Team Nike. So, if anyone sees us on a tournament roster, we're not yet ANOTHER start up team. Same players and coaches as before. Just a new name.

Our sister team (Team Indiana-Pash) is also switching to 16u Team Nike.

18U Wizards, Shockwaves, Gators the usual. Also the Invaders have 2 D1 starters a girl on a top ranked d3 squad in Ohio. There are also some solid signees that are seniors this year.

Invaders have been around several years, I know at one point they had at least two teams. They were based out of the Whiteland area.

The cream of the 18U's would probably be Akadema, Dreams (Bell), Dreams (Lewis), Magic (? I can't keep them straight).

Any idea what the other TI teams are changing their name to?

I see no reason that any other Team Indiana teams will be changing their names. ;)

So have they left the TI organization or just procured sponsorship/naming rights?

We have procured naming rights with Nike, as they have been team Eckl's main sponsor for 3 years. In addition to the name change, yes, both teams (Eckl and Pash) have separated from the TI organization.

I am grateful for our time within the Team Indiana organization. There are many, many wonderful people/players within Team Indiana. In no way, do I want to take away from that by announcing our new name for referential purposes.
