New teams moving to 4A:

Fort Wayne Wayne

Should be an exciting next 2 seasons.

I think in Football the sectional alignments usually come out in late March. Not sure if the fact they're doing all of them this year makes any difference or not. Several changes at the IHSAA, new commissioner, etc., could impact it as well.

They always do football first, last reallignment came out around softball tourney time so we probably wont know where everyone will go until may for softball, baseball, vball, and Bball. Will be interesting to see if NP will go north or south, they will probably go somewhere with shelbyville

One of the changes, the non-Football classes used to only reclassify every 6 years, they have now changed that to fall in line with Football and reclassify every two years.

Some major changes in all sports with the new classes. Notably in the city, Guerin going from 1A to 3A in four class sports. Brownstown moving from 2A to 3A in both four and five class sports. Many more. Should be interesting couple of years.

You are correct, the announcement for 2012-2014 sectionals will be this spring. New Pal will be in the south, there's absolutely no doubt about this. My guess would be they'd join Shelbyville, Greenfield, East Central and maybe Warren Central or the Columbus schools.

snoop,

Here's my sectional prediction for RHS:

Franklin Central
Franklin
Whiteland
Greenwood
Southport
Perry Meridian
Roncalli

OR

New Pal
Franklin Central
Roncalli
Shelbyville
Perry Meridian
Southport

Something along these lines. I believe RHS and FC will in the same sectional no matter what.

DL,
Either way, it will be interesting! Especially if we put on the red and blue next year!

snoop,

Oh my. I'm going to stroll on out of this thread for my own good. No more talk of 4A from me until June.
