Yeah, OK, I'm dating myself. I would have gone to Cal Jam 1, but I had to do my paper route!

I have no idea what Cal Jam is, and I remember eating at those restaurants when I was really little.

Cal Jam:
Early 80's, maybe in Devore, or somewhere similar, I think U2 made a name for themselves at one of the early ones...I have faint memories of stories about Bono climbing to the top of the stage.

Red Onion:
What happened at Red Onion, stayed at Red Onion...for the most part...

I saw The Who in their "final" tour. 1982 at JFK Stadium in Philadelphia with over 100,000 fans inside, and a couple thousand more outside. The opening act was The Clash, who got booed off the stage with people throwing objects at them as soon as they were introduced (classic Philly for you). Next up was The Hooters; not bad and were just a local Philly band at the time (remember "All you zombies"?) Then came Santana; awesome is all I have to say about that, but their show was a little short. The Who then came out and played for almost 3 hours.

Small world Arto! That was my 1st concert and I was in 8th grade. Looking back can't believe mom dropped us off there. One memory still sits of a stoned dude trying to walk and tie his shoe at the same time. Was that you?

I think the same dude was at the Aerosmith concert. His self proclaimed name was Schultz and he had this gallon milk jug full of something and was chanting "put a little in...take a little out", admonishing anyone who was interested could take a chug if they had something to add to the concoction...funny how you remember stuff like that!
