So I'm looking at Triple Crown results from last weekend (I know, what was I thinking), and I see Team Fun 4 All entered in the 12U group...

But wait, they went 0-3 in pool play, and one and done in the bracket... Whaaaaaa?

At least the games were close... and they only gave up 33 runs in the 4 games.

This is understandable since based on this other post, I think Ray-Ray has moved to Texas.

It was her first game back yesterday Ray pitched 4 IP 8 strike outs no walks 2 hits, game ended in a 4-4 tied.

I'm thinking about starting an "Art-Art" post about my slowpitch exploits...
It would go something like this:

"The advil was strong in Art-Art last night.
Lead-off walk, grounder to short, line drive to 1B, and 2 singles through the right side wasn't enough as his team fell to the much younger guys by 3 runs.
Art-Art also was a wall behind the dish at catcher, and no pitches got by him....The 9pm start time meant no Oggi's tonight, as it closes at 10pm. Art-Art and his drinking buddies had to improvise by checking out a little smoke-filled dive that served beer late into the night."
