Are you sure you are a concerned parent or was your team criticized by one or all of us "jackoffs." Perhaps a better crafted scolding would get us to think twice about some of our comments. You may have a valid point in there somewhere, but then making threatening comments and attacking a guy's daughter, wow. You're comments here are more offensive than anything I or the others I have observed has said. Some of my comments are to be taken sarcastically and others are just tongue and cheek. If my comments are out of line, I will get enough hate mail to get me to rethink my statements. I'm hoping to be humbled by some of these teams that got slammed here at the forum ! I hope Brashear's team can beat Victory, I hope the Punishers can go out and win the next tourney! I hope USA Athletics can win a big game. I then expect to be slammed if they do. Good for those teams that worked hard and got it done. Kinda shocking that you would go on this rant about us and then attack Closer's daughter in highly degrading way. Highly hypocritical!!! As for the comments here on the bucket, a discussion on the do's and don'ts might be in order. Keep in mind, Heybucket is no different than the discussions most parents are having in the stands and at practice. If your sensibilities are offended, then maybe you should avoid this section.

Look people we have girls that go on here and read what alot of you JACK OFFS post. It makes no sense to talk bad about a team for GOOD READING.

Glass half empty I have a daughter that plays yes. Is she that good where COLLEGES are already looking at her, don't think so in fact I know she's not. . She plays and loves the games. She goes out and plays 100% everytime she steps on the fields and then you get guys like you and a few others that bash her team. Is it fair that a 12 soon to be 13yr old should have to see this. Yes you are right people out there are going to talk smack at the field behind the dugouts and critisize as they wish but I am sure there are better ways to handle this.

All I am asking is that you stop bashing the girls.....

Do girls really look at this site??? I doubt it!!! All of us no-life dads are the ones into this. My kid wouldn't waste her time looking at this sh@#t. I'm more concerned about facebook and all the other crap inside these "stupid boxes.." As for criticizing girls, I can't see what I have done that other than stating in "generalities" the shortcomings of teams. They can't play defense, pitching not strong enough, ...etc. Can you tell me where I have specifically criticized a player? If we are going to have these rankings, then strengths and shortcomings will be discussed. As for coaches, I guess they're all adults and are open for criticism. Being criticized is best way to learn! Just like our kids, the ones that can't be criticized are the most uncoachable. You can either suck it up and learn from it or just sulk!

I hope your kid is home schooled. I can't imagine the daily trauma she would suffer if exposed to things kids say at her age. And I am sure there are better ways for you to handle this.

How about this. Be a parent to your child. Sit your precious snowflake down and explain to her what goes on in here (the HORROR!). Tell her to stop looking at this adult-dominated site. Tell her you love her and will always protect her from all of society's ills. Put her in a hermetically sealed clear plastic ball and let her run around the grassy backyard instead of playing softball where she might encounter negative words. I don't care. But don't expect everyone else in the world to genuflect when faced with your desires WRT what you don't want your kid to read on the internet. I won't be asking you or anyone else for help raising my kids any time soon. That would be on my wife and on me. Your kid is not my responsibility.

BTW, I AM sure colleges weren't looking at my kid at that age.

Now, I don’t quite know what it means, but I don’t care what you think or say. Do you think Victory cares if I say that there is no way they are better than Firecrackers ’98? Of course not! Do they even have a pitcher that can hold Firecrackers ’98? Don’t bet your Lucky crowhop on that one! I have seen the Firecrackers ’98, and I haven’t seen Victory, but let me tell you Victory, from what I’ve seen and haven't seen, you are no Firecrackers ’98. Closer, I think you would have to agree.

As for all of these people getting butt hurting over little things such as this and that. I understand, because I am also very sensitive, so shut your mouth! I once was the assistant team father for my son’s U8 futbol team. After a semi-regulated practice scrimmage game, a young boy from the other team ran over to me and yelled “We’re better than you!” I can remember like it was yesterday and even though I don’t quite remember exactly what I said, I think I yelled back “No you're not!” You see, even though they just beat us 8-0, for the third time that season, I didn’t want to believe that they were better than us. And THAT my friend is all that matters. “Mi cabeza es en mi cuerpo!” y "sin mi cabeza no tengo vida!"

I hope you learned something here. Like they say in my country “Tengo una roca en mi sombrero y me duele”. It means, “I have a head full of wisdom, so listen to me”
