Press release from ASA 1/6/2011:
We have decided to change our name to AR-RA (Amateur Ray-Ray Association).
This is in conjunction with Ray-Ray LLC and for the purpose of helping the IOC let Softball back in the Olympics.
The IOC stated on page 33 (give or take 5 pages) that if Ray-Ray was on board with Softball during that time they would hold another vote for 2016 and attempt to reinstate it to the games.
A breaking story from page 31 (give or take 5 pages) that Ray-Ray might join Soccer in the year 2012. This will kill any reinstatement to the games for softball (per the IOC) but FIFA stated they were waiting to see what Ray-Ray would do before they changes their name to reflect the phenomenon of what we call Ray-Ray.
No word from Priemeir,NSA,USSSA or TCS on them changing their names to reflect what softball has become known by, which is just Ray-Ray..
Dictionary.com has stated Ray-Ray is no longer just a noun, it can be used as a verb as well..
