Everyone relax, he's just as excited as all of YOU once were. You guys remind me of "those same guys" who were nerds as Freshmen in High School and as soon as you were a Senior, you talked smack about how silly or nerdy the Freshmen were. You too, were once there (10u) also, and excited that your daughter hit a foul ball off a good pitcher and then struck out! We appreciate to hear some of the experiences that you guys have had with your daughters who are now older, but don't come on here and bash the FRESHMEN!!!!!!!! Let us have our fun.

If they didn't, they usually got their arses kicked...

You would be wise to listen to those like hotwheels that have been through it before, instead of getting butthurt and giving them attitude.
But maybe you just have to touch the hot stove a few times before you realize your hand will get burnt.

Uh......it kinda hard to listen to a guy with a name like "hotwheels", but I'll try. And take it easy Tito, we are talking about girls softball, so what's the whole reference about the hot stove and getting burnt all about? You've been watching to many gangster movies, there is no hot stove, chill out, no one is burning anybody!

Hey "10"...IT also kind of hard to watch people make the same mistakes that some of may have made and take the game away from our daughters. IT also kind of hard when we all the love the game and should consider it a blessing that our kids play and love it like us and not give it up because of "Crazy parents". We've all been one at one time or another. Some of us have changed. Those that have been through it at least once before and are lucky enough to be doing it again can give advice. That is what this place is all about. Oh, and Hotwheels just might not be my real name...And I might have 2 eyes and not one...Tito is right...Always...

Usually, those who take the most offense to something...Are hiding that very same thing...Don't get defensive...Take the advice and run...Or don't...

10's reminds me of the coach wearing the full uniform with wrist bands and $100 matching turf shoes, yelling out commands from the 3rd base coaching box, scary thing is he is dead arse serious, gotta love it...

Same OLD story with Hot Wheels & everyone like him. WHERE in my Entry Post or 10 ever mention ANYTHING about practicing, working out our daughters that would change the topic into the same old tired line "Learn from my mistakes, we have been there, don't burn them out you crazy 10u parent".

I bet if I put up a post right now about what should my 10u eat before a game, the conversation would turn into the same OLD line "From my experience you are burning her out with granola bars & Gatorade and your a crazy parent. Listen to me, I'm the Yoda of softball".

READ the ENTRY and reply to that not give us your same OLD line and disrespect the 10u's with your Barbie statements! What I can take away from all this is that it's o.k for all other divisions to talk about their happenings but when 10u does it it's a crime. This is a softball forum and my ENTRY does not call or ask for your advice but if it did I would gladly accept it as I have in the past.

Go find another tourney to work on since you have nothing better to do but criticize and keep on taking the 10u's money. WORD!!! (Used by permission from the wise Spoken Word)

Can't we all just get along? I happen to be a 10u parent, but I think I would be foolish if I didn't respect the opinion of those who been there done that. I have older boys, and I could give a ton of advice on boys travel. Boys travel now starts as young as 6 or 7. On the other side of the coin, not all 10u parents are crazy. I think 10u travel is fine as long as you maintain a balance. There are parents over the top, but I guarantee you you will find that in every division.

So what are the shake ups for this spring in the 10u level division?? Obviously there are some strong teams out there but at the same time there is alot of parity amongst others. Has there been any movement that would strengthen one team but may weaken another??A "Ray-Ray" that may be the difference maker to be on the lookout for??M3SPEEDY has asked some good questions but it just seems the YODAS have brought it upon themselves to turn this into a totally different forum. Anyways good luck to all the 00 and 01 teams out there, see ya on the dirt.
