What's your New Years Resolution regarding softball?

by 4girlsmom » Tue Dec 28, 2010 6:21 pm

Anyone been thinking of the past years highs and lows?
What is your New Years resolution regarding softball?

I will lay off Brackey until June of 2011.
I will take more multi-vitamins prior to DD's game.
I will lessen my comments directed towards umpires which are,
at times, less than cordial and kind :)

I will walk/exercise while my DD is practicing.
I will not immediately volunteer to do fundraising so other parents on the team can have a chance to help ;)

I too will walk while DD is practicing.
I will try to "ENJOY" the game of softball and not live and die with my DD's team.
I will remind myself that this is "just a game."
I will enjoy this time with my children, before they grow up and move out.

1. Manage a game to perfection as if I was sitting in the stands...
2. Win all of our "Friendly" games because...well...that's what matters...Especially in October!
3. Recruit a "Shut Down" pitcher from another team so that I may be considered a "Good coach"
4. Try and start up a 10U team and get others to do the same...It is NOT too young...
5. Try to vote on Brackey's only once for my team being ranked in the top 5...
6. Make sure that my 16 month old daughter starts swinging the stick soon...Already throws underhand!
7. Cancel #4...Start an 8U team with my 16 month old daughter when the time is right...Should be ready by 6 years old...She seems tall...

The key to any New Years resolution is setting attainable goals similar to Hotwheels' ^^^ above.

In that spirit I pledge to continue criticizing every move my DD's coach does while sitting on the bleachers getting fatter by the minute. Heck, I think I'll even start this one early.
