Don't worry about him AE, he is just one of those people that think there is nothing outside of the Metro Areas and everything else is "the boondocks". Once they get outside in the sticks, all they can think about is getting back to all thier traffic. Maybe he needs a map or GPS to remember how far it is between Lake Fork and Longview. And for those who never travel outside the norm to play ball, there is good softball elsewhere. I have also seen teams from 3 states come to play a tourney in Carthage TX of all places, and if you think Longview is the "Boondocks" don't even think of going there!
By the way, I live in ET and DD plays for a DFW team :o, I'll try and lobby to come to your tourney. But like many others, our team liks to stay close to home. Good luck with your tourney, and I know it will be a good one.

We arent too worried with the teams that dont wanna travel. All we can do is ask, and if they decline then we'll move on. We'll take the strongest teams that dont mind traveling and the ones with the fewest MOM tattoos, how's that for a middle ground?
