DONKEY DOMINATION! LOL Click the link now!

by JoeRussell56 » Tue Dec 14, 2010 8:52 pm

Mr. Battle are we talking about the same teams the played this past weekend in McKinney?

Did you witness any of those games? The Dallas Donkeys-Gold?

No offense towards TNT and I am sure there Coach is a great guy.

However, we did just what you said we couldn't!

We won the tournament championship and they were elimnated through the losers bracket, I believe.

Hell I dont doubt, I couldnt carry Coach Greys clip board.

I am not a coach, never claimed to be one, I am in mass marketing and advertising.

I think the misconception here is that so many people think the Dallas Donkeys are an organization.

Sorry, thats not what were about.

Look us up on Yahoo or Google just type in the name Dallas Donkeys we will pop right up on the top of page one. Visit our web site and read some of the articles about what we are trying to accomplish. Especially the one written by Theodore Simmons, that will give you a pretty good outline.

Then ask yourself why everytime the Dallas Donkeys advertise for players we have 30-40 calls?

Merry Christmas!

Ummm....Yea, I think. If you are talking about the TNT that played on the weekend of the 5th and not the 11th.

JoeRussell56 wrote:However, we did just what you said we couldn't!

Huh? What did I say you couldn't?

JoeRussell56 wrote:I am not a coach, never claimed to be one, I am in mass marketing and advertising.

Lol..That's probably a good thing. Best thing you have written so far but....

Straight from your site:

Head Coach - Gold: Rev. M.W. "He Hate Me" Miller
Asst. Coach: "Hoofless" Joe Russell
Asst. Coach: Harry Doyle
(Deceased): Lou Brown
14U Head Coach: Mando "Weiser" Pena
Assistant Scorekeeper: John "JJ The Zookeeper" Jobson
Bus Driver: Doug "Baba Looey" Gorsuch

Now if you think that I was talking about a TNT that was there this weekend, my question is...What TNT was you talking about when you called them out? The one that was there this past weekend?

You might want to try your hand at coaching because you suck at communicating and that has to go hand in hand with marketing and advertising.

LMAO....I've watched the donkeys and I've watched TNT and TNT would have killed yall and it wouldn't have even been a close game so back up the conceited train there coach. IMO you couldn't carry TNT's head coach (Grey) clip board in for him, much less coach your team to a championship against them.

Still LMAO!

He's right, TNT is pretty good. They are a long way from Bob's ET Longhorns though. I don't know who is better-dont really care. Both teams would need to do something before talking how ya'll are right now. Battle, U-trip don't count. JoeRussell, neither does a winter craigs ranch tournament.

I see "hoofless" found him some more victims. Why do you people continue to feed into his enticing? I just don't get it. Let it die.

As for T.N.T. How about we let Heartwell chime in here. You beat the good TNT a month back and got destroyed by the Donkeys before publicly crying about it. What is your opinion? Could the Donkeys beat the TNT team you beat a month ago in Keller?

Gentleman,
We have a clarification and let me direct this to Battle and an apology to the TNT and Coach Grey for allowing them to be drawn into this mish mash.

I did not realize that TNT and TNT North Texas were not the same team.
I went back and checked it out on VTD.
So TNT was not in the tournament in McKinney on Dec 11.
When I stated that TNT got beat by Fusion I was referring to the team that played in McKinney on Dec 11, TNT North Texas.
They did get beat by Fusion who ultimately fell to the Donkeys.

OK?

In regards to you comment about being a Coach, I think my point about not being one was quite profound. There are not many “real” coaches handling select teams. Sure there are a lot of guys who are called coach but not that make a living at it. At best it is an honorary title that people call one another because they don’t know their names!
I am sure we all know a few who are good at it and others not so good. I know I have heard enough muffled comments from parents and players about being on a team with a poor coach that they exist.

Plus as far as communicating I may not be a great prose like Battle but I don’t lower myself to name calling or making accusations against a person’s profession.

Here is what I do know though.
Maybe this is what really “burns” all of you softball experts about the Donkeys because no matter what they do, we have nay sayers and mud slingers trying to discount them.
The Donkeys have no regular players; they don’t practice and have never even met some of their players until a few minutes before game time. However they have played in four tournaments this year and in each tournament, they played in the championship game.
What do you think the percentage is of teams that have been together all year, practiced 2-3 times a week and played in four out of four championship games?
I don’t care what the level is or the type of tournaments.

How is that?

Do you think we have some kind of magical spell over the TD and the tournaments?
You can say oh the tournament competition is poor, comeback when you win the Sparkler or some such nonsense. Don’t you see it the irony of it?

Don’t’ you as a coach or parent question how could they do this?

There is a secret and we will not now or ever disclose it.
However here is the part about it that will floor you.

It was not discovered by a softball person!

To Justawatcher, I know you wish we would just go away but no such luck we are here to stay, see you in 2011!

Hoofless :D

Justabrianwatcher take it is easy! Crying, please you know there's no crying in softball. Lol! Just because you are moving out to Houston doesn't mean I don't know where you are going to live. Thought you were my friend my man.

As far as TNT well I don't mean any harm to any team, player or other. But since you asked and we have played both. We had a great game against TNT when we beat them in Keller they came back and beat us in the championship game though. So they are a very good team. The thing is that we were able to hit TNT's pitching and a had a very tough time hitting the Donkey's pitching.

It is a null comparison though, we are beating a dead horse. The donkeys are an all star select team. The girls are awesome at every position so we should not be comparing them to another select team. TNT(Keller) is very good, one of best teams we have played so far along with Breeze. There are also other good 14U teams that are playing up that we have never faced.

Having said that, on a good day(No excuses) we would probably do better against the Donkey's Gold but I don't think we can beat them unless they have a bad day. They are older and very talented in every position. We have a talented team as well but we still have a lot of work to do.

JW if you haven't seen the Donkey's Gold play you should. You would enjoy it. It is a very high level of play. You know, half of them came from a very good team that starts with the letter "F" and ends with an "N" and placed 3rd in Nationals a few years back if my mind serves me correctly.

Let's just let the girls play and JoeRussell please just tone it down a bit and let the Donkey's kick do the talking!

Until next time.....Justawatcher let it be.....
