Ray-Ray awsome pitching

What's on your mind?

Lighten up m3speedy. Regardless of the participating teams, they were the better team that day and won the championship. Good for them.

Well, the Chargers execs are just hoping her team doesn't go too far in elimination play tomorrow. They're worried about losing their audience....

Don't worry, they did that all by themselves last weekend, when my Raiders whooped them up and down the field, completing our 2-game sweep of the Mighty Chargers!!

Don't worry NORCAL, my Steelers put a big A$$ beat down on his Mighty Raiders!!!

Why would an all '99 team play in a 10u TCS qualifier in December, when they go 12u three weeks from now? I understood that the Fall season is normally used to develop your team, and transition the team if you are changing age groups (larger ball and 5' further back for pitcher). While I guess kudos for Fun 4 All, how about the '01 Gamers making it to the 'Ship and their great pitcher/hitter #34. She was terrific. And what about the new PS 2000 team, first games they ever played and they finished tied for 3rd. Hope everyone enjoys their Holiday!

Well, it was, until BenAround started messing with my conscience...now I feel bad for my attempt at "lighthearted fun", as fastpitchdad05 described it.
Dammit BenAround, see what I get for taking you off ignore?

Congrats to Ray Ray and her team. I am sure there is more to this story. I would think they really didn't have a roster full of '99s playing in 10U.

of course there is more to the story, but that stuff works it self out one way or another.
sometimes a new group just doesnt know the unwritten rule of playing up.
or its an all star group that wants to get that last trophy before going back to rec spring season...

whatever the case, it will work istself out.
They could move to 12u travel and do well, or get slammed, who knows?
Or go back to rec and conquer the rec all star circuit again next year.
When we made our move to travel in 12's, i was told constantly that we would get our arses handed to us, but we did pretty well. Alot of that was due to a few teams and coaches going out of their way to help us out, tell us what to do and what not to do, etc...
Hopefully if this group makes that move, others will take the time to do the same and help them out. that goes a long ways towards the making or breaking of a new team.
Of course the new team has to lose their ego and accept the help. :D
You just never know.
