My name is Jon Workman and I manage teamSmith's 12U program.
You should seriously consider seeing Coach Don Sarno. He coaches out of Andy Trevino's facility in the Brea/Yorba Linda area. The facility is called Baseball/Softball World.
Coach Sarno is a phenomenal pitching instructor and has coached most ALL of the USA Softball Olympian pitchers including Lisa Fernandez, Cat Osterman, Michele Smith and Lori Harrigan just to name a few.
Coach Sarno was on the first USA Softball Olympic staff back in '94 and is a gem of a gentleman. He is also different than a lot of other pitching instructors that are out there as he was a pitcher for the Long Beach Nighthawks for over 15 years. The Nighthawks were a men's fastpitch team that was one of the best in the country. When you visit him you will surely be impressed by the testimonials on the walls from former players that he has instructed.
One of his former students, Lori Harrigan is quoted as saying, "Don is the master of the junk ball pitch". He focuses on location, deception and movement.
Please give me a call at 909-753-2210 if you would like more insight on Coach Sarno. You can also contact me at teamsmith98@gmail.com or vist our website at http://www.eteamz.com/teamsmith12u98/
Thank you and good luck in your search.
