So Iluvblue, you weren't the coach of Oakdale and you aren't the coach of Johanson. I don't understand are you a dad helping out or a asst: coach or what. I just know you weren't the head coach at Oakdale in 05. Tell me if I am wrong. I just got this info from your Bio profile.

Since I did a little search of your previous posts, it seems we have been down this road before and you seem to follow me around a little.

It is people like you why we started a testimonial section on our website. This allows people that have played for us to speak up and not listen to people like you that want to spew venom.

Any rain date? of indoor workout?

We are having a tryout tonight at Rainbow fields in Modesto at 5:30. Rain is supposed to come in again and probably wash us out this weekend. I will just wait and see, but no indoor workouts scheduled.


I may start doing as many individual tryouts as possible starting Mon-Fri next week if we get rained out again.

Ego is a terrible thing to waist and it is not wasted here. For the Oakdale years, lets see here. Fabulous Pitching (Drewery) and some very fine talent. Johansen last year, Humm, Great pitching and some very fine talent. Let alone the fact that other MMC schools were "LESS" than talented. Give you some credit for getting thru and "coaching" them in playoffs, did a great job in that. Your H.S. pitcher, laid it all out on the line for that team and WITHOUT her, do you really feel you would have made it THAT far. Come on "Iluvblue"! Have some character and thank the talent you have had the blessing to be around and coach. But the self prophesizing on taking "ALL" the credit for others hard work and talent is not very appealing. Not bashing your ablility to coach, but also realize "others" deserve the credit as well if not more than just yourself.

Facts are facts. Those are the teams I cooached, and that is what they did. By the way, why didnt Anjelica Seldon win a few section titles? Wasnt she as good as the pitching Oakdale had?

By the way, look at ANY TeAm..... ANY TEAM that is good and plays for a section title, and i will show you a team with a VERY GOOD or even DOMINANT pitcher. Nothing new there.

And do you think it was a coincidence that the very fine talent you speak of in Oakdale all played on my travel teams, and maybe that had a little to do with why they played so well.

Ego has nothing to do with anything. I posted a bio on my site for prospective players and their parents. that Bio is accurate.
And by the way, NO COACH plays the game, so it is ultimately the players that win or lose, but it sure is a coincidence that where I seem to go, winning seems to follow. By the way, go ask some of those parents at Johansen what they think the team would have done without the coaching staff that was there. Hell, go ask the pitcher herself what she thinks. then come back and talk to me again.

I have been blessed.... blessed that the parents at Johansen along with the head coach thought enough of me as a coach that they came to me and asked me to coach them. So yeah, I am blessed.
