I think the biggest problem would be DFW drawing enough good talent to make the trip. Why travel to DFW when there is such a high level of competition in your backyard week after

Right same here we have some very strong 14 u teams that Dbat gets to play every week end too right in our back yard.I'm saying Dbat has been to Austin,Houston etc to play the top teams .When they show up.Lets look at how many times Houston teams have came up to DFW.How about helping us every now then.Or just meet us half way.We would love to play the top teams.Lets just cut the travel time for everyone in Half.DFW,Austin,Houston ETC

This list is a mix of 12's & 14's
The Bomber Shootout has been a good meeting tournament for the state. What are the big tournaments in NTX that STX should attend?

You are correct. But also note the majority of the true 2nd year Houston 14's were playing up in 16's. The Glory and Fusion teams from Dallas were at minimum, 2nd year 14's playing down. And to say they burned through these teams is an overstatement. My understanding was a few of those games were one run games against 1st year 14's.

I really have no idea, I was not there that weekend. So let me get this straight though. The Glory and Fusion teams were "at minimum" 2nd year 14s. Meaning what? They may actually have been 16s? 18s?

Either way what you're saying is that those 2 teams are older and were playing younger teams and barely beating them. So either the 1st year 14s from Houston are very very very good or those 2 dallas teams suck? Is that right?

Only point I am really arguing is you saying they burned through the competition. My statement about "at minimum" is that some girls on those teams were huge! I would assume they were at minimum 96's, but by rule, I believe you can also play 95's in the 14U bracket of the tournament. So not saying there were any 95's on that team and that is why I say at minimum. But they were big!

Neither one of those teams has 95s. And Fusion is big? Really? :?

22's Dad, good point; NTX what are the "must attend" tournaments.
The Bomber is a good one somewhat central. Still between playing up 14's and facing some of the best 98's the state has to offer I don't see us leaving the backyard.
