Tragic, but with all due respect.....you're letting your 14 year old spend nights with a 20 year old in her apartment??? Ultimately the young lady has to be held accountable for her actions, but geez, where are the parents?

Did you read the comments? Many posters saying this is not a big story, the perp is a "good person," the relationship was "consensual," that it was going on for some time so it's "no big deal." What is wrong with people? The victim is 14 years old, the perp had her roommate buy alcohol for her so she could get the kid drunk, and they all watched porn together before having sex. If it was a 20 year old guy and a 14 year old girl, they would be screaming for his head on a platter.

Coolstuff, I ALWAYS READ THE COMMENTS, many times that's the best part of the story, unfortunately there's nothing funny about this.

Also funny you mention the gender issue. I find it odd how gender plays a huge role in people's feelings on this kind of matter. Take the instance of the 12 year old boy who was doing his 6th grade teacher. Upon hearing that, there wasn't a man in America who wasn't like YES!. However had the roles been reversed and it been a male teacher with a female student, everyone would be yelling for castration.

Consensual or not, the bottom line, at 20 you're an adult, and the kid was 14, you have to know that's wrong. I still feel like the parents bear some responsibility here as well.

Exactly! The only 20 year old my 15 yo DD would be staying with is her older sister. And that's only because we've done all of the necessary background checks & know her parents quite well. :D

this accused has an "open" myspace and most of her "friends" "look" under age. This chick is in for a raising. She also boasts about being a 14U coach along with a 6U team. Someone want to pull the plug on that age bracket also.
The spirit, the will to win, and the will to excel are the things that endure.
These qualities are so much more important than the events that occur.
