What are the games to watch?

Good turn out....minus Naudin's team......who else would you've like to seen there?

Hopefully the turn out is just as good as their 18u showcase a couple of weeks ago. You know with all the college coaches and all.

What do mean? No coaches, lousy teams, lousy fields? I hear the economy has cut back alot of coach travel. They pick one tourney instead of the 3-4. They came to RMD. I hear school finances are putting pressure on scholarships. Why sign anyone other than a pitcher at 16U play.

entry fee for showcase event - $400
umpire fees - $35 (for what was originally posted as 90 minute games)
hamburger, fries and a coke - $6
new transformer - estimated $1200 (WHICH WAS NOT REPLACED)

"One or two college coaches, games knocked back from 90 minute to 90 minutes on Saturday and 80 minutes on Sunday to 70 minutes (because a transformer blew out Friday night) and for some just 40 minutes because the sun went down" - PRICELESS!!

The teams and the fields were fine.

Your just not going to get to many coaches out this time of yr. Your DD needs to pick a couple favorit schools and go to there camps. They will be putting them on in early Jan. before the season starts. So look for that it really helps to put a face to a name. They also love to see that your intersted enough to spend your money on there program. I've known several player that were not recruited until late but spent the time and it paid off. After that in the spring keep her stats. Dobie coach never submitted my DD's teams stats to the paper. I was told that she didn't want the schools in her dist. to know who was hot lol.. I would e-mail them weekly to UTSA and other schools. It also hurt several of them make first or second team all greater Houston.

You can't blame the Storm Elite for a transformer..... by the way it is still out. Our county taxes at work.
