thanks Grey.

I will disagree with Krewl though everyone had a chance to stay in the winners bracket so if they didn't do it then they didn't do it.

All I know is that our kids did what they said they were going do.

kruel2bkind wrote:I'll have to give it to Smash. Best team out there....NO. Had easy Bracket.....YES. What they got to play the harder teams after the others had to battle back most of the day yep. Them winning Nationals....No don't see it. I have a daughter that plays 18U Gold who is a 14U player. I have been around softball for a long time, this is not my oldest daughter in softball. I have seen it all. It's like the big bullies of the tournament won. Your girls have pushed on other girls, call them losers etc....what sad is it's not the girls, it's the parents they learn it from. Maybe this year they have changed I hope so......

Clearly uninformed. All of our wins were in the winner's bracket playing against teams that had played the same amount of games. No beating up on tired teams!!! Your other comments about our girls are clearly an attack on 10, 11 and 12 yr olds. Pretty poor taste.

Beat 98 Cobras 8-0
Beat 99 Heat 13-3
Beat 97 Buzz 2-1 Got 2nd place
Beat 98 Rage 9-2 Got 4th place
Beat 98 Force 5-3 Got 3rd place

Not bad playing the 2nd, 3rd and 4th place teams and winning

Congrats for the Smash and Buzz for taking top honors!

Force is a solid team and played well.

Great job Rage for placing 4th. Your girls are fighters! Your team was short a pitcher, but with great coaching it was hard to tell! I bet your ace is tired today!

I hear TPS is having some injury issues on the pitching staff also. I am sure they will be back on top soon! Always a good solid team.

Next big one... katy christmas classic???... Who's in?

I think Fusion and Glory looked very competitive, nothing to be ashamed of. Very solid teams like TPS and Storm Elite had their struggles too. I am glad we had a good representation from across the state. I really liked that Prospects team, very speedy in the game I watched. Buzz did a great job fighting through the losers bracket.

Should be posted on Eteamz. I believe they are making it a USFA qualifier this year. I know they lost a lot of support this past season due to the fact they took an extraordinary long time to issue refund checks after the tournament was cancelled due to weather. Now it seems like the tournament that benefited, at least in the 12U and 14U division, is the Spring Christmas Classic tournament (with 30 teams in each of those age groups). Their info can also be found on the Eteamz site.
