Monster Mash Tourney Escondido

by CODE_BROWN » Tue Oct 12, 2010 10:19 am

Way to spark things up Fastpitchdad, you got the heybucket village riled up which made for an interesting and entertaining post. Although you weren't directly trash talking, you've pissed some people off here just because it seems you have a little too much confidence in your team.....which is ok in my book because its gonna make the season that more exciting and a lil friendly competition won't hurt nobody. So if you see that one person looking around and not focus on the game at Monster Mash, it might be Mr. Wonderful, Hit & Run or maybe ontheblack wondering who you are.

I know I cleared my schedule for this weekend to go investigate...

Oh wait, no I didn't...
It's astounding, time is fleeting.
Madness takes its toll.

I see the 99 Suncats from Az. entered the 10U Monster Mash in Escondido. Why would a 99 team enter a tourney of nothing but 2000's? Wouldn't they be better served playing up, or is it all about the trophy? Just Sayin. :? :? :?

Why do you care? Worried about not winning the trophy?
Geez... 10u?... just sayin'
Don't worry about tomorrow. You did that yesterday.

That would be telling. ;)

Seriously though, I don't know the etiquette here, but I haven't seen a post yet where someone has come out and actually talked about what team their kid plays for. I also wouldn't want my comments here to be representative of that club. They're my thoughts only and are to be taken at that value.

As far as being a "shoe-in", I didn't mean to sound arrogant or misleading. I certainly feel that DD's team is good enough to qualify this season, but it's way too early to tell. But right now it's just hope, optimism and a little bit of experience that I'm relying on.

I am going to guess you are a Firecracker-Sota or Raider parent.

Now THATS what I call an insult...................
I think, that I shall try to do the utmost to be new today

Absolutely not! Don't expect to win it. Just thought this would be the first real test for the new 2000 teams.
