Who will rep the State in the 16u A division??? Heard 16u A Nationals is HUGE!!!!

I'm guessing Texas Storm and Houston Power

Y play A ... 3 of those teams will be in Midland for the HOF this weekend. It should be a good measuring stick for those teams. First round match ups Glory/MC Elite & Stars/Travelers will guarantee 2 good teams in losers bracket right off the bat. It also looks like only one local team out there, so that means every team is driving 300 - 450 miles to play. I don't think too many teams are doing that unless they think they have a decent chance to qualify for OK City. Should be some good softball in Midland.

Regardless of what happens this weekend, It may be another couple of weeks before you can tell who is really strong. There are still several girls in the HS playoffs and teams are missing key players, plus even if teams are not missing any players, they have not been able to play together for more than 1 or 2 weekends at this point in the season. I would say that after the NQ in Houston, the picture should be clear enough to figure it out.
