Is it still Feb. 15 the last day you can play travel games with your HS girls?

According to the CIF SS schedule the first softball scrimmage is February 26 2011.

But the date of the first contest is march 4th. I don't think scrimmages count

The 26th is the first official scrimmage date, even though many teams are now playing games in the fall. Players can participate in travel ball until Feb. 26th.

A travelball team wanting to play game/s with girls who attend high schools in the CIF Southern Section could play on thursday, March 3rd, 2011. Actually a tb team could play up until the team members have a scheduled high school game.
Situation : an 18u travelball team consisting of all girls who attend the same high school in the CIF Southern Section could play on March 25 (made up date) assuming their high school doesn't have a 'scheduled game until Sat, March 26th - BUT WHO WOULD THEY PLAY?? They could only play another tb team who are in the same situation. All the other tb teams would have stopped playing in February (because they don't know the rules????).
Since all my girls on my travelball team attend the same high school & their 1st scheduled CIF game is Friday, March 4th, I am looking for another tb team to play on Thursday evening, March 3rd in a double header.

When High School softball starts, What do most teams (travel) do for funds durring this time? Is it common practice that the players of travel ball teams continue to pay dues when dark? What have you experienced on your teams?
