Congrats to all making their decisions to play college softball. We had a chance to play the Indiana Dreams in San Diego and noticed many SEC schools seeming to watch their pitcher, Ms Hursh. Does anyone know why(surely a good fit) she decided on Miami in Ohio? Is this a start up program for the school, and for which conference?

You were correct to notice that Shelby Hursh generated interest and wonderful offers from SEC and Pac 12 Schools.
Shelby chose Miami of Ohio because it is a wonderful academic institution with a beautiful campus. The softball program is established... second in their conference (Mid-American Conference) last year. The facilities are fantastic and the coaching staff impressed her during her visit.
Shelby will be an immediate and impactful player while at Miami of Ohio.
