Coaching changes

Wow! There are some great organizations out there (grapettes, breeze and running rebels)
what's up with them allowing just anyone to coach. The grapettes have a coach that reminds you daily she has played ball but sure isn't coaching material! Then you have the Breeze who brought over a coach who didn't produce anything
with the Grapettes( what a waste) and the Rebels just keep adding more and more watered down rec teams at the 14 and 16U age group! What's is really going On here?

Does it really matter what is going on with them? The coaches are who they are, if you dont think any of them are good, start looking for a good one for your kid somewhere else.

And by the way... just curious what a "Great Organization," means to you?

That's a good question? An organization that gets my kids looks and helps to get them in the better tournaments. Their names definately brings out the colleges. Yet all that isn't worth anything if the coaches are some stay at home moms or some dads that only coach because they want to play daddy ball. It's a catch 22 ! My observation is follow the good coaching ! Our kids have some time til they get to the gold level. Are we thinking down the right path? Some stay there for the name and never grow as a player?

Everything is great. Having a great time. Still hard to believe that my daughter graduated from college 2 years ago. But I can't give it up. I talked to your daughters coach in LA at the Champions cup. He had really nice things to say about your daughter.

Thanks, Tim. Ferrin is a wonderful coach, and I am very fond of him. Glad to hear he had good things to say about Kelly. Must have been remembering a HR, not a pop-up or K!
