after Nationals? Can we expect the same level of commitment from
you on HeyBucket next year? Great job all year long! :D

I really dont' know. My Company wants me to move to Philadelphia so I might re-emerge as PA12UDude or even NJ-12UDude (yikes!), and I'll rank their 3 or 4 teams there  . Also, just doing 10U was really a lot of work. Met a lot of cool people doing this and a few snarky coaches but it was a lot of fun for me and 99% of the people I spoke to got a kick out of all this meaningless nonsense. 12U has even more teams upwards of 10x more teams plus I'm not sure if Bracky is still doing 12U next year and if I would be even needed.

When you say Heat what do you call heat? 58-60mph for a 10U player? Just wondering who fast that is.

By heat, for 10u 57mph. If its the same pitcher we saw in PCB, there was 3 guns on her in a game, they showed 57, 57, 56.

If you are talking the girl from Pearland, yes, she was throwing that at Mizuno Invitational. Up to an occasional 59. Big girl. Tends to walk a few though, if the batter can foul some off and get enough pitches. If your girls have the hands to get around on her, it will go a LONG way.

Cobras pitchers aren't as fast as they but hit spot and have a few pitches that move. Their defense makes up for the rest.

But this is 10U and on any given day........

No not talking about girl from Pearland, Chattanooga Cyclones.

Pearland pitchers very wild, just stand there. Even the girl they picked up from Mizuno, she shows up the Ump's very bad and is very wild.

I am confused a little bit by this last statement about the pitcher from Mizuno showing up umpires. I have seen her pitch in many games and never once seen her say a word to an umpire let alone show bad body language. She is a talented pitcher that shows little emotion.

The big girl from the Phantomz has gotten more accurate IMO since the addition of said Mizuno pitcher. Hope to see the Phantomz do well along with the Cobra's and Bombers.

Good luck to all teams.

Overall, a good first day for SoCal 10U Teams. Everyone but BB won their first pool game. Everyone only played 1 game today.

Results:

Corona Eliminators OVER Atlanta Vipers 6-4
FC99 OVER 99 Easton Elite (GA) 6-1
Jynx OVER Sharpsburg Heat (GA) 8-3
Watley OVER GA Fire (Masoner) 13-0 :o
USA Athletics OVER Explosive Fastpitch (OH) 8-0 :o
OCBB UNDER Knox White Lightning (TN) 3-4
-------
6 SoCal Teams

FYI: Impact went to Western Nationals, Bombers did Triple Crown (2nd). That accounts for all 8 teams given berths to Nationals.
