'96 Diamonds become Texas Glory Adkins 14-U

Texas Glory Adkins would like to welcome the '96 DIAMONDS to the Glory family. This team has a long history, having played together for many years. Coaches, Troy Travers, Wayne Hedrick and Tony Lovett have all done an excellent job with this group of young ladies. We will be changing our uniforms to reflect the Texas Glory Adkins colors in the coming days, until then we will wear our Diamonds uniforms. This team comes to us having already won a National Championship at USFA and have two top 5 finishes at ASA Nationals already to go along with a number of State Titles. To the parents, players and coaches we would like to thank you for the confidence you have shown in Texas Glory Adkins and look forward to your continued success. This team will play 14-U again in 2011, tryouts will be held on August 14-15, 2010. If you would like for us to send you a reminder along with time and location, just send us an email.

What is happening with the old players? Are they all being cut? Just curious.

Only 3 players from our current 14-U team can remain 14-U next season, all others will be moving to 16-U, some 16-U players will be moving to 18-A or Gold team.

Super Coach Wines should be a great pickup for Dan & Co. I wish them all the best.It will be great to see the level of play they will go to.

I do not know Mr. Wines but I can tell you with absolute certainty that he does not coach on ANY of the Texas Glory Adkins teams. Not sure who started the rumor and don't care but I do want the record set straight that our coaching staff is set and we are not looking to add anyone else to the mix. Have a great weekend!
